- SESLADO distributes its advanced software algorithms in the controllers of the hydronic system components including
- cooling towers, chillers, boilers, condenser pumps, primary pumps, secondary pumps, headers, decoupler, AHUs, FCUs, and VAVs
- To manage and control the entire plant as one connected plant.
To the minimum value required by the plant, not more not less, without crossing any of the plant critical limits listed below:

GENERAL SCOPE OF OPTIMIZATION


1. PRODUCTION SIDE:
- PLANT CONSIST OF:-COOLING TOWERS, CONDENSER PUMPS, CHILLERS, PRIMARY PUMPS.
- Expert team will check and review the existing mechanical design.
- Will update the design to optimize the production plant operation.
- Executing the required mechanical modification in piping, arrangements as required by the new design.
- Installing new high-end PLC controller with RIO panels for connecting the Cooling Towers, Condenser Pumps, Chillers, Primary Pumps and all related field devices.
- Changing all Open/Close Valve Actuator to Modulating Actuator for modulating flow control AND Active flow balance.

- Installing VFD for all constant speed Motors for variable flow control.

- Installing flow meters, Temperature sensors for continuous monitoring.

- Installing new BTU meters, PMU meters for monitoring the Energy consumption and production.

- Close monitoring of the efficiency of each equipment in the plant.
2. DISTRIBUTION SIDE:
- PLANT CONSIST OF:-SECONDARY PUMPS, HEXs, TERTIARY PUMPS.
- Expert team will check and review the existing mechanical design.
- Will update the design to optimize the production plant operation.
- Executing the required mechanical modification in piping, arrangements as required by the new design.
- Checking the DPT location and its operation to maintain the pressure control logic.
- Upgrading the logic with SESLADO central flow balance algorithm.

- Installing VFD for all constant speed Motors for variable flow control.

- Installing flow meters, Temperature sensors for continuous monitoring of major parameters.

- Installing new BTU meters, PMU meters for monitoring the Energy consumption and production.

SESLADO - AIR SIDE OPTIMIZATION
- Air side units (FANs) represent 24% of the building HVAC power in the design.
- They consume 43% of the HVAC energy Annually.
- The saving in the air side is big, however the interactive effect of that saving on the production side is bigger.
- The root of most HVAC energy bleeding problems are from the air side units.
- Under sizing and rouge zones are the hardest to find Energy wasting causes in big HVAC plants.
- It need hydronic balancing “Water flow balancing”
- It require Air flow balancing and Air flow control.


3. CENTRAL FLOW BALANCE FOR AIR SIDE UNITS:
- If the airside system has no water flow balance mechanism such as PICV, balancing valves, or reverse return piping the system will experience a great loses in energy.
- Some units will have overflow others will have underflow in the water and energy will be wasted in both cases.
- This issue become especially important for systems that experience daily shutdown and startup such as malls or office building, because the water imbalance will be so severe during system startup.
- SESLADO comes with a built-in solution to establish flow balance by monitoring and commanding all the pumps and airside equipment’s.
- This algorithm can improve the flow balance by up to 90% especially in high load demand during the startup periods
- CFB is achieved by checking the ‘design data’, ‘current operating data’ of each air side equipment physically and reprogramming the controller based on SESLADO algorithm with the ‘required data’.
